Waterfall Lodge Wedding: Lindsay & Ralf

Lindsay and Ralf are just classic. Everything about their wedding was classic, beautiful, perfect (do I say that all the time? yes, probably, because you do you! there are no wrong answers!). End of September, huge bouquet with beautiful arrangements, redwoods deep in the mountains of Ben Lomond where you get no cell reception. So deep in the woods, in fact, I pretty much thought I was going to die in my beater car. 😂 I can’t believe what a beautiful gem that the Waterfall Lodge is!

I think the best thing about these two is the incredible community surrounding them. Family and friends came together to celebrate, and showed their support actively throughout the day. From my arrival and watching the cake being iced at the venue, to the fifty thousand speeches, family singalongs, and the laughter and tears, it was really a moving wedding. Squint and look above the reception to see the groomsmen making their way to the ceremony site! I myself ran about a half mile down the road just after this! One of the rare occasions I wasn’t sure they knew to wait for me to get there!

But seriously, everything about these portraits is perfect. I can’t believe how happy they are!

Most times, when the wedding party is announced, people just come in dancing or are super awkward, and that’s totally fine, but everyone in this party had planned something to do! It was a lot of fun to capture!

I always wanted to take a photo like this and now I have so I can die happy, right?

But also so many speeches!!!! So much love!

Kids on the dance floor and an emotional mom? Yes, please!
