SF Japanese Tea Garden Engagement: Cyrus & Kit

Oh this sweet, darling couple! When I first started chatting with Kit, little did I know that she was IN JAPAN and trying to coordinate her move back to the states as well! We finally met up in September to capture her and Cyrus’ engagement photos, and although we’d originally planned to NOT spend all our time in the Golden Gate Park Tea Garden, we ended up lingering, if only because it was super busy that day and we had to wait our turn for each spot to clear.

I’m always stoked to have a reason to grill other people about their Japanese experience, so I know I was pleased as punch walking around with them for two hours. They shared their engagement story, their love of making things (they’ve forged their own wedding rings! probably not in the fires of Mt. Doom), and told me all about the amazing healing powers of curry! Never underestimate the healing power of curry!
