The Winery SF Wedding: Jason and Jeanne Wedding

And we’re back! Sort of! I’m still working madly on the wedding season editing, and I’m graced that my wonderful son is just (barely) independent enough that I’m not falling behind spectacularly! Also, I’m sleeping less. I read a book recently that noted even when people claim they are working more than 50 hours a week, the actual time tracking doesn’t pan out through distractions, long lunches and breaks, what have you. BUT ANYWAY. Enough about my addiction to productivity and self-help books…

Jeanne and Jason! This wedding is close to my heart for many reasons, but I was so happy to be able to take on this wedding and give Jeanne her dream photos. At one point, I apologized to the groom for taking so much time with the photos, and he said, “This wedding is all for Jeanne, we’ll take as many photos as she wants.” Ahhhh, swoon!!!

Not only is this a return to the Winery SF after almost FIVE years (wow! I really feel like I’m at a new place every other week!), but it’s with a cute as a button bride and my 4th military wedding in the last two years. With an impeccable sense of style and a deep love for San Francisco, this whole day was basically gorgeous. We started at the Le Meridien SF, a hotel with stunning views from every window, a photo session in downtown SF, and a couple shots of how the whole thing looks from Treasure Island…Well, keep reading, and drink in the photos!

Okay so, this is where things go a little wonky timeline wise. For various reasons, we did a SF photoshoot the day AFTER the wedding, but I presented it here as if we did it on the day of. It just doesn’t make sense from a flow perspective otherwise. So, here are Jeanne and Jason in their limo heading to their first look. Jason graciously agreed to be blindfolded ALL the way to Treasure Island, and it was hilarious (and adorable!).

As does this one… He was just laying on the sidewalk, chilling. Average San Francisco Sunday, you know?



And back to the actual wedding day. 😍







I don’t usually have a ton of fun with family portraits, but honestly, these guys seemed like the right kind of family. 🙂







The cake was actually all for show, they wanted to cut it, but decided to have a full dessert bar instead.






And, of course, I snuck them outside for a closing shot with the Bay Bridge. <3 Night shots are definitely becoming some of my favorite things. Congratulations Jason and Jeanne!
