Año Nuevo Beach Anniversary: Adam & Carin

LOOK AT THIS PHOTO GUYS. LOOK AT IT. Basically, what I’m saying is that my 10 year anniversary session with Adam and Carin was perfect. Perfect, perfect, PERFECT. It had everything I love, from two very fun geeky / nerdy people, to sun! ocean! lush greenery! Oh, Bay Area, you are just beautiful. Never change!

I also must take some time to gush over Carin and Adam, who put up with ongoing scheduling problems while I was getting my life back together this past year. When we finally met, I learned so many endearing things about them, and we were able to keep up a good conversation much of the time. I don’t often feel quite so at ease with people, and it was wonderful to just click. Even now, I have an e-mail in my inbox from Carin that’s asking me questions I’m going to have to write a short thesis for! 😉

Watching Adam and Carin together during the session was also such a privilege. At every turn, Adam had a new compliment for Carin, and they both had great ideas for how to improve or set themselves up for the photos. Ever been on a photo session and not known what to do with your hands? This was totally not the case here, I swear, those hands changed position every shot. It’s the details that matter to my eyes, and it was wonderful to have that one detail off my mind while I was rolling around in the beach sand, blithely forgetting that I was wearing a second camera in my harness and getting sand all up in there. 😂 Please enjoy this small selection from their gorgeous session!
