Island Club Wedding: Angela and Josh
Posted July 30, 2018 at 9:00 am in island club wedding
I’m probably going to do a small post soon on how I hate blogging and social media and the ins and outs of it all, but, one of the reasons I haven’t blogged in SO long is because I’m supposed to “do SEO.” Well guys, I GIVE UP. I am three years behind now, so, I say SCREW IT and I’ll just type like a human being, best business practices be darned. I’ll pay lip service to it, but I’m not going to write about this “Island Club Wedding” forty times.
AS WELL, because I’m so behind, we’re going to be doing a bit of a “all over the place” thing, where I’ll post about the latest things I’ve done, and then jump back in time with other updates until I’m actually caught up.
Josh is an old…friend-quiantance? He is part of my main core of friends from high school, but he has always been on the outskirts of my personal circle. Likewise, Josh has been bringing Angela to weddings with our friends for years… So I knew what she looked like even if I’ve always been too busy working to socialize. Still, like any of my friends who get married, I’m over the moon to do photography for them. It gives me a chance to do something for other people that I love, and all the more so in cases where people aren’t even sure they’re going to HAVE a photographer!
It was a real pleasure to see both Angela and Josh’s real joy in each other. I’ve really never seen Josh smile so much or so easily. Angela was continuous smiles and laughter all day. And I really can’t ask for more in any wedding. Photos and more commentary below!
Sometimes… your family is at the wedding you’re working. True story, he’s giving me a look here, but David actually didn’t recognize me for the first two hours because I was all decked out, ignoring him, and my bright colored hair was covered. His face was literally that Math Lady meme when he figured it out.
Above, I tried to get Angela and Josh to do this thing where I have the couple bump their hips, but Josh refused, saying “I can’t violence my wife.” I’m still laughing about this.
Above, someone suggested to the children that they all try to be snakes. So here they are trying to be snakes on the dance floor.
The mother’s speech was so sweet! If my mom had given a speech at our wedding, it definitely wouldn’t have been like this one.
Shouted during this cake cutting: YOU’RE RUINING IT! YOU’RE RUINING IT!!!
And that’s a wrap! Congratulations Josh and Angela and I’ll see you again…someday! <3
Guuuuurlll, do you want some SEO help? That’s a thing I have been known to do…
lol, so maybe? but maybe not? I’ll ping you and you can tell me about my life. xD putting you on my to-do list now!
