Baker Beach Engagement: Lori & Will

Today’s post is a Baker Beach engagement session with Lori & Will. 2014 was a great year, because I finally started getting clients that really mesh with my personality, and Lori and Will are a great example. They won an engagement session from me after seeing me on Offbeat Bride, and I was so happy to provide. Not many of my clients opt for the engagement session these days, so I’m always excited to do them as well! Baker Beach is an old favorite for me, as well, and I’m actually looking to go back there again this year to try and find new perspectives, so engaged couples who want beach photos, be sure to inquire!

I ended up photographing Lori and Will’s Doctor Who/Steampunk wedding as well, but the great thing about Lori is that she’s just about the sweetest woman in the world, humoring me when I kept coming up with “just one more photo!” and even being a good sport when some jerk cop ticketed her car for practically no reason! This session also includes some of the portraits I’m most proud of from 2014. While I’m typically happy to let my couples be natural, there are points where I stop you and ask you to do something that’s uncomfortable and pose-y, and the reason is all reflected in this post – to take your fantastic self, and upgrade you to bombshell!

In short, I love Lori and Will (and I’ll be saying similar words about all my upcoming blog couples, too, such a good year!).

They were pretty loose by this time, and I love how cute and goofy they got! Adorable!
